The rest of the family is getting to know Harper.

We brought Harper home on Wednesday afternoon.  We’ve been preparing for her arrival and so far she’s  made herself quite at home.

Our much anticipated package arrived on Monday evening, March 16th at 5:19pm.  Harper weighed in at 7lb, 1oz and was 19.5 inches long.  The delivery was a long and intense journey but both the mama and baby are happy.

Looking forward to sharing more over the coming days, weeks and years!

It took some doing but we’ve acquired a few rare shots of Tom as a baby.

Clearly I was a charmer.  Sarah is convinced I still make that concerned expression you see above. (Click the photo for more images)

As the due date draws near, Sarah and I are curious to know what our baby will look like when she emerges.  We’ve gone into the archives for baby pics and perhaps a peek at what our little girl will look like. (Stay tuned for images of baby Tom)

It’s often said that pregnant women have a glow about them.  Somtimes it’s the warm glow of a fresh rose and other times….

… it’s the glow of a red hot fire poker.  Thankfully Sarah has a sense of humor and during a particularly difficult day was gracious enough to admit that this was the right wine to purchase.  We opened it for our Valentine’s day dinner. (Screw-cap of course)
